Background

Giuseppe Benedetto settled in the province of Québec, Canada in 1967, originally coming from Italy, where he started his art studies. He obtained his sculpting master at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). 

After assisting several internships with international artists, Giuseppe opens the first glass arts workshop in the region of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean in 1993 known as Verrerie d'Art Touverre inc. 

Giuseppe Benedetto is well trained in the visual art fields and is the author of several sculpts such as the Mercure, the prize given by the Chambre de commerce du Québec.
